I've been in bands for 10 years. I have been signed, unsigned, toured and Ive managed bands. I wanted to write something that would both benefit and encourage musicians to share experiences and hopefully learn from each other. Not everyone will agree with all of the steps, and I'm sure some will debate some stuff I've said. I hope so.
We are gonna (hopefully) learn how not to blow your bolt too early, to keep your band together & to build a following. I have split it into 10 steps. This advice is for bands that truly want to go all the way to becoming full time. That's not necessarily Razorlight or Arctic Monkeys but being paid to do music, your own music.
