Hello, spread us around and we will do the same for you. We're on the lookout for gigs in the Gtr. Manchester/Lancashire area for now. If you think we may like to support you, or gig alongside you on the bill, then maybe we do. Its all about experience and awareness, and we want to build up a fanbase.
Formed January 2006. Our sound is like nothing else around at the moment. We describe our music as melodic, layered, driving, well thought out, thought inducing and passionate. With influences as far afield as The Clash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 3 Doors Down, Pink Floyd, Vangelis, Led Zepellin, and The Stone Roses, we could only sound like us.
We are playing gigs in Oldham and Manchester, moving further afield in time. We are available for gigs around the Gtr. Manchester area and surrounding counties. Let us know if you would like us to play at a venue near you, we will get back in touch and see what we can do.
Our band name came about from a running out slip from a cigarette paper pack!
All of us are Oldhamers, and are all Manchester based.
Dawn Eckersley ('Beats' page editor, Oldham Evening Chronicle) wrote of our 2007 demo CD:
'Demo "Straight Off The Branch" is dark, brooding and moody. The skilled musicianship is based on talent rather than gimmicks and special effects. It's refreshing to see they're not a carbon copy of anyone else. With the right production these boys could be a real force to be reckoned with.
