The summer of 2006 saw The North open up to audiences in Barrow playin various covers and their own tunes in the pubs and clubs on the Barrow music scene. However, after a good 6 month break and a small change in personnel the band began to concentrate on writing more of their own songs. Yet to get into the studio, their is excitement in the tracks written. With a vast array of influences and an excellent live setup The North are confident that they will not dissapoint. A demo was done on the 15th of september at the Coach House Studios in Ulverston. This was done for people to get a picture of the bands sound and possibly to attract some gigs. A new recording will be available later in the year.
